The Casa-Museo Unamuno welcomes researchers interested in learning about Miguel de Unamuno and offers access to its archival holdings. The house-museum preserves the writer’s personal archive, comprising approximately 25,000 letters, over 600 photographs, and a significant collection of manuscripts and original drawings. This documentary heritage, together with Unamuno’s personal library of more than 6,000 volumes, represents a collection of exceptional value for the study of his life and work. The Research Room also houses an interesting reference library containing a wide range of publications aimed at deepening knowledge of the figure and his time.

- The Research Room is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 14:00.
- No pre-booking is necessary to access the Casa-Museo Unamuno during admission hours; simply ring the bell at the entrance.
- No letter of introduction is required to consult our holdings –just present a valid ID.
- Materials may be consulted in the Research Room or requested in digital format via unamuno@usal.es. Please note that you will be charged a fee for the issuing of the copy; the pricing details are indicated in the link below.
- Public rates apply for the use of archival materials.
